Garlic Honey Pan-Fried Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, cut individually as drums and flats
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
- 4 slices ginger
- 1 scallion, sliced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- in a large mixing bowl, combine wings, garlic, honey, soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well snd set aside to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- In a large frying pan, heat oil.
- Add scallions and ginger and lightly fry until golden brown.
- Place wings into pan and leave to fry on high heat for 3 minutes.
- Flip wings to pan-fry other sides. Add water and cover pan on high heat for 5 minutes.
- Uncover. The water should have evaporate and your wings will start to char and stick to the pan. Flip and continue to fry for about 2 more minutes
- Remove from pan and drizzle with honey. Enjoy!
